looking for serial number location

I just bought a massey tractor that has a model 200 loader on it but can not find the number for the tractor so was just wondering where the serial number plate would be located so I can get the right manuals for this tractor and do you know if this tractor is able to put a backhoe on it the guy i bought it from said it came with one but he sold it thank you for all the help

Look around for a tag near the steering box, battery box, and other places close by.

On my 1964 MF 135 diesel the plate was on the right hand side of the battery tray. You have to remove the air filter canister to see it.
