Looking for TG1860 HST

I bought this mower about a year ago and love it. It's got 1,100 hours on it now, and is still doing well. What I'd like to do is buy some use major components, overhaul them and replace them on the mower. The HST looks simple enough. Is this a Kubota specific HST, or did a third party make the HST?

I also want to do the same on the gearbox. It most likely has a bad seal, and is leaking 90weight oil.

Buying a used TG1860 seems like overkill, but that may be the best route.

Bump. The gearbox leak is getting worse. I'd like to find a spare to overhaul and replace.

Spare gearboxes not real common, go to Kubota.com and in their parts lookup they have the tractor and local options. In the options section they list the decks with parts breakdowns, you will need to order the seals and bearings and rebuild the one you have.

Searching the transaxle number shows new part numbers with costs inn the $3K range with some mention of Hydrogear, probably a customized Hydrogear for Kubota but if you can track down the part numbers for the Hydrogear version you may get them cheaper otherwise look at Messicks.
