Looking to build forks.....

I have found a new set of tines that includes top and bottom rails for a good price. They are rated for #2300 and are 36" long. Would these be a good match for my 400x loader? They seem kind of short, but I can't find longer ones that aren't $$$$ .

long forks makes its harder to turn they stick way out here is the set i made for my 1070(990 4005) they fit JD 300 400 and 500 loaders)

Because bigger is better. The JD forks are all 42" or 48".

Your absolutely right... What was I thinking ? With a longer lever one can lift the world. Get out your wallet and buy the new John Deere forks. Don't fool around with inferior junk.

You can always make a set of fork extensions for long reach
