just to echo the others, the 7040 is a great machine, had one myself. hyd shuttle is great. imho paying extra for the 7060 emissions is not worth it, best regards

$35000 is a great price for the 7040 your looking at.i gave $34000 for a 7040 rops 4x4 hydro shuttle fel with 10hrs on it 15 months ago.

I would actually try to stay away from the new emissions, unless you plan to do government jobs where they sometimes specify what must be used.

How do you like that grill guard? What do they cost?

It come on it when bought it new,don't know what it cost. It's staved it couple times when using the grapple and I use it to push hay bale around when unrolling them,pretty nice.

I have a 60 HP Kubota, a little smaller than the 7040. I could use a few more gears than 8, but it is really not an issue. I would go for the 7040, the money savings and not having T4

I have a Kubota M5040 and wrote my personal review of it probably 3 years back. I remember only having 8 gears was an issue I had as well.

Well no more looking picked the tractor up yesterday. It still had the new car smell along with the stickers on the tires. Thanks
