Thanks for all the info!! I am getting closer to a choice. I am starting to think that i might lean more towards the 3540 as i dont need a lot of HP, just lifting capacity. I was quoted 31K for a 3540, with loader, 6' box, 6' cutter and a set of pallet forks. Seems like a reasonable deal, but obviously id love to make it 30K even.

Huge rebates/discounts on the 3540 right now if you buy with cash or at standard rate financing. If your quote is more than a couple weeks old, you might check back with your dealer to make sure you have the latest and greatest discounts.

I was not aware of the big discounts! but my quote is only around w week and a half old i believe. Since i am in WA, we have to deal with the retarded state tax of 8.8%, the 31K included that tax. (Should have mentioned that)

Your dealer may have already applied the discounts, but it is worth checking.

We paid $26,700 for 2555 HST with loader, pallet forks, and hay spear back in Feb. That was the cash price, not sales tax and with rebate for buying 2 implements.

I know this is a six month old thread, but I am now shopping for a 2555 Shuttle with fel and was quoted $28,156 and that was cash. It looks like I need to shop around since a couple of you beat that price with HST and a couple of implements.

Thanks. I just got done at the farm show and think I am going to go with a cabbed model. Unfortunately I don't think it will be a Mahindra. Another brand is offering more standard features for less money than Mahindra. My 3215 has been a great tractor....

I would advise anyone who has purchased anything last month to go on and check the customer rebates.. for example last month in Kansas the 3550 open with a loader is up to claim a $1,000 rebate.... 3540 open with loader and 3550cab with loader had $500. Just fill it out online and they send you a check back....its easy simple..

It will vary between model/state/date but a lot of the models are up for some and some up for big rebates right now.. also military, first response, teachers, return Mahindra customers....
