Looking to buy TC40D in Central NH

Sorry to hear of your negative experience with MB Tractor, my experiences with them have always been 100% just the opposite. When I was doing my shopping and dealing they could not have quicker or nicer about matching lower prices or at the least meeting me somwhere in the middle.
When I was shopping, I to was quoted a very high price for the quick tach assembly, until I showed them prices from other local NH dealers. I / we / they then discovered or realized that the price they were quoting me was for a Woods brand assembly (I believe) the other prices were being qouted on a NH brand assembly. They admitted that they were aware of the NH ones, but had been very hesitant to offer them or sell them until they felt that they had been proven. They said that if other dealers felt comfortable with the quality enough to sell them, then they would to. This alone saved me alot of $$ and I am extremely happy with the system.
As I had said before, just because there has been a price qouted for the same tractor at a MUCH lower price, the first thing you need to ask is Where in the USA is this price coming from. If it is coming from the South, Mid West or West it doesn't mean squat here in the Northeast, just as our qouted prices don't mean squat to them.
Again. Very Sorry to here of your shopping experience. I hope things work out in your favor wherever you purchase.

The is a very new New Holland dealer in Littleton, NH. Ltiileton Motorsports is the name and being new, maybe they are interested in making a deal.

Might be worth checking out.

I purchased from Ryan Tractor before MB bought them ... Things have changed /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hey Vaulkman: where did you end up, I am trying to find a good dealer in CT ?

The cheapest prices I found at dealers in New England was a Bechard's in Champlain, NY (OK, it's not New England, but it's close, they are just over the border from Vermont). Make a call, tell them what you want, and they will quote you a very competitive price within a day or so.

I ended up buying a TC33D from Champlain Valley Equipment in Middlebury, VT. They are dealers for New Holland, Case (Case compacts are basically red New Holland models), and Kubota. Good selection in stock. Their prices were a bit higher than Bechard's, but they have an excellent reputation for service, and are only 15 or 20 miles down the road from me. If you want to talk to them, ask for Derek. He's a good guy and knows their products well. Phone 802-388-4967

Thanks everyone for your help. I am working with Scamman in Saco, ME on a deal right now for a TC40D.

They are working out a very good deal for me, and seem excellent to work with. The whole deal is being worked out through email!!

Thanks again.

Got along ok with Dave, but irked me that he didn't want to talk about NH. Pushed the Kubota even though he didn't have any ready for sale. I test drove a Demo which was ok, but I really was interested in the other side of the lot.

One thing on expenses, MB was sponsor for the Race at NHIS. They had 5 or 6 tractors in the parade (all orange). I am sure that didn't come cheap.

( As noted in several previous threads, those of us in the Northeast will pay more for most everything related to the tractors. Be careful when comparing prices from someone who bought a tractor in Ohio or other area where prices are more competitive and there are just more dealers and choices.

]Y'all just keep votin' Democrat ..... I'm sure the price of ownership will get even higher /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
