You may be a new poster but you certainly are a smart dude. You already know the key ingredients to CUT's. That being the right size, right tranny, right dealer and a good product. Both Kioti and Deere are good units and if your Deere dealer treats you right then you are headed in the right direction. Going up to a 6420 is a huge jump from a 4000 series. I have yet to see the 20 series but the 4700 I ran (only 5 hours hours so I'm not an authority)was surprisingly strong. It developed its torque very low and the loader was impressive. Believe it or not I was digging a basement for a guy and it worked well. As for haying it depends on your equip and field conditions. I use a 7210 or 6400 for our baler, a 535 that makes 6 foot bales, but that same setup would not work my relatives who have hills and require 30hp more. You could square bale with it on flat land but overusing a tractor is not a smart move.
This is just a thought and maybe a bad one but for 30G you could buy a small CUT and a decent used utility tractor. Utility tractors as a whole require much less work that their smaller counterparts.
