I've got an old issue one, circa 1980, which came without a ROPS. The new issue ones have a factory ROPS. I've put a ROPS on mine. It has the 1630 loader, gears, and Ag tires. I've had it about 6 or 7 years, paid 4300 for it, and expect to get at least that out of it if I trade it in, based on what dealers have told me. I may sell it to my SIL rather than trade it.
It's a tough little tractor. It hauls logs, carries logs on the loader, moves all kinds of stuff for me, plows snow, and just keeps running. I've used it to clear paths in the woods where a big tractor was needed but couldn't get in until after the Kubota opened things up some. I'm looking to trade up to something bigger, but not much. That's primarily because it doesn't fit my a 59 year old 6'3" body really well, causing some cramping and stiffness after a few hours on the seat, plus it's a little tippy with a load in the bucket on my hilly ground.
If you can get it for $2500, grab it fast. Dealers around here are asking over $3k for a bare tractor.
