Sounds like a good price on the tractor. Another $3,500 for a trailer and rotary cutter may be a fair price, but it depends on what trailer and cutter. It should get you a 7k trailer with brakes on both axles, etc ($2k or less) and a brand name 5' cutter (not their house brand painted to match the tractor).

That's a good setup, and good deal. PJ trailers are nice, and that Rhino is very stout (I have the 6' version). I think the overall package sounds very fair. R,

Do you think you'll need to upgrade your tractor in the future? If it's even possible, you should consider stepping up to the 5200lb axles. I made that mistake before and bought a 7k trailer ... had to upgrade when I upgraded tractors. Also, play with the ramps before you finalize the decision, I was going to get the slide in ramps, but ended up getting the spring loaded fold up/down ones, they're much easier to use, and they have a built in stabilizer/foot for the back of the trailer.

Thanks TSO, The tractor wont be transported a bunch. The trailer will spend as much time transporting cars and stuff so I was looking for removable ramps.
