Looking to Purchase JD LT160

I am new to this lawn tractor business. I am looking at a 3 year old JD LT160 which has 2,400 hours on it. It that a lot for a three year machine and how many hours can this model expect to live.

Edit, I believe it may only have 240 hours. I am not at home to check.

240 hours for a 3yo machine is 80 hours/year which is high for a lawn tractor. The unit should last at least 1000 hours with proper maintenence. So, at 50 hours/year you're looking at roughly 15 years before having to consider a replacement.
