Looking to replace finish mower....opinions welcome

It appears it took me almost a year to do the deal but I ordered the Woods PRD 7200 in Kubota orange today- will this match a Kioti?
I ordered (optionally) the front anti-scalp rollers, the rear chute chain guard and a spare set of high lift blades. Apparently they are built to order so I should see it in about 3-4 weeks.:~}
:laughing:

You bought a great mower!
It's probably the Kubota Orange paint that's delaying shipment...you guys with your color coordinated implements...I wonder about y'all!!

I'll second Roy's comments...
I purchased one 7 years ago and have done nothing to it except mow mow mow...
Just keep her greased and she will run and run and run...
She is heavy and well made and worth every penny...
I hope to eventually move up to a bigger tractor and get the 990...
Great products...

They weren't offering any deals on 'uncoordinated' implements! LOL
I was comparing their lighter duty RD72 mower deck in the manufacturers info. The main differences I see in the PRD7200 is a deeper deck (4.6" vs. 5.375"), the inclusion of a skid rod bumper, cast iron sheaves vs. steel and it appears taper locked fit as opposed to just the force of a nut and washer keeping them affixed , wider caster wheels (3.25 vs.4"), over 100 pounds weight difference, a beefier gearbox, and in the belt drive the PRD7200 says w/ 'clutching cover'.
WHAT is a clutching cover?
Plus it says a blade cross bar- what is a blade cross bar?
Oh, and I ordered it in the RIGHT color...hahahaha

I have had the PRD8400 since 2007. Run it off my Kubota L3940. Great finish cutter.
Be sure to keep the wheels and spindles greased. Also, be careful that you do not set your 3pt hitch drop speed too fast. That's a heavy unit and the arms that carry the wheels can't take a lot of shock. I was shearing the bolts that hold the caster arms to the deck on a regular basis even after slowing the 3pt drop speed. Went to hardened bolts and have not had a problem since. You will love it! :thumbsup:

That's a great chestnut of wisdom!- I'll just do the same and go with hardened bolts from the git' go!
