Mid-Mount Mower Looking to trade used 48C for 62C plus some cash

Hi Folks,

I've been trying in vain to get a 62C deck for my X585. I can get one at the stealership for $1700.00 which seems exhorbitant. They will not accept my deck for trade in purposes and told me to put it on Craigslist.

I also looked at the JDPARTS for just the 62C shell since I think almost all the other parts on my 48C are the same minus the blades. They want close to $1200 for just the shell!!!!!

So I'm wondering if someone out there would be willing to trade their 62C or just sell it outright. Not sure where to post this so I figured attachments might be the best bet. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place for it.

OR, if someone knows a shop where I could purchase one that would work too. I'm in southern NH. Thanks!

if you were closer to WI, I'd buy your 48C.
I have a 42C on a LX279, and its just way too small.

not sure it would work for you even if I were closer. the 48C is shaft driven....I think the LX is belt driven?
