You May be able to beat them up a little on price too. Or you could just buy off the internet, get it shipped in & save some money. Then if & when it breaks, you can ship it back to where you got it to get fixed, or wait in line at the local dealer as I'm sure he's going to take care of his/hers customers first.
I pay more, I buy local, I see the owners throughout the years, I get taken care of when stuff happens. How much is service worth to you?
Puhleeezeee
I've bought 3 tractors, 1 in OK, 1 in Pennsylvania, and 1 locally.
The only good dealer around (75 miles north) I've never bought anything from, but their service department rocks. (and if their prices were better, i would buy from them)
My local dealer thatn I bought from, can't keep any of my tractors running and it's always "get in line"
So, it's all about the money.
if local is close, go local, but if they aren't even close, then go far away and save your money, you worked hard for it after all.
And, every dealer tells you teh same thing, "sales is seperate from service"
So be it, so don't come whining when you can't fix my brand name that you proclaim to be. If I got pushed out because I didn't buy it there, not only would I never come back, but I'd complain to the manufactuer and I'm sure they would be happy to hear it.
