Loose and Rattling Steering Cylinder and Tie-Rods

I wonder if we can think of a way to use off the shelf heavy duty Heim joints to accomplish something similar but more reliable.

Here's a Heim joint someone fabri-cobbled on a car. I'm sure something better can be achieved.
