I have a CC 3204 and the front belts (2 of them) that run from the motor to the PTO that the mower PTO shaft connects to are loose. I shut the mower off the other day and one actually jumped off the pulley. This never happened until I re-installed the mower deck (needed a good cleaning). I either didn't reinstall correctly (seems to work fine) or the belts are too loose. I looked through the manual, and really didn't see anything that showed me anything at all regarding replacing or tightening these belts.

Anyone out there run across the same situation that could offer some advice.

Great forum!!

Do you have the belts around the idler pulley the right way? I haven't looked at the belt arrangement on my buddy's 3204, but there must be an adjustment on the idler or it's not on right. Just my guess. Good luck.
