Loose bolts on 3215

Sergei, I can't help you with the CD, it is basically useless to you and it is not for external consumption. I have probably given you about the only info that is on the CD that you would lack. I've actually not reviewed the service manual in depth, so I can't comment on how good it is or what may be lacking. As far as a phone number, that would typically be your local dealer. If I have more info that would be helpful I'd be glad to share though. You can email me directly if you would like.

I don't know about other models, but my ML260 loader manual has a torque specification chart on the second page. It includes bolt diameters from 1/4" to 1&1/2" and Metric from 8 to 30mm. I've also found what is called Special Bolt Torques on the 24/7 Care that includes Cylinder Head, wheels and axles and several others.

i just took delivery of an 5500fwd and the dealer made a point of making sure i checked the wheel axel bolts and also the wheel hub tie bolts. He said they had a nasty habit of working loose in the "bed in period". Also he said that Mahindra wouldn"t cover any damage under warranty.

i myself are going to apply loktite to the nuts to make sure.

I have watched this thread with interest. I find it interesting that the dealer tells you that the the bolts coming loose would not be covered under warranty. That's a "well duh" to me. Especially if you have a loader, it says right in the manual how often to check bolt touques and what they should be as noted in a previous post. There is no automaker on the planet that will pay warranty even if your front wheel falls off the lug bolts at only 10,000 miles.

Check your bolts sooner than the manual suggests! Mine on the right side worked loose and one actually broke off in the hub. I cant believe i didnt catch it beforehand.
