Ahhhh! No no no. This reminds me of the village people picture in another thread.

I have a neighbour who is a euro guy and an overt nudist. We never go to their place for fear of coming up on him naked. He mows the grass naked, you name it (you can't see their home from the road thankfully). Anyhow, most of us have pools around here and whenever we have a get-together this guy always wears a little speedo. UcK!

I helped a buddy of mine deliver furniture to a nudist colony before.. One of those "what was I thinking" days. Not at all what I had imagined.

My dad used to sell Medicare supplement insurance. One of his clients lived in a nudist colony retirement community type place. He said those visits were rather disturbing.

Jim,

Just checking in to see what you had been up to with the new tractor. Glad to hear there were no serious injuries...unless you count pride...but since you posted about this, I guess that has remained in tact as well.

Since you're sharing stories...the dumbest thing I've done so far was grabbing a still slowly rotating Snow blower Auger to confirm that the shear bolt had broken. It hadn't and I got good tug towards the business end of the thing. Dumb! I've actually lost sleep thinking about what could have happened.

About your neighbor.... that's why I love living in the county. It's easier to "love thy neighbor" when there are two hay fields between you.

Later.

You want to talk dumb, I did it two more times both which caused me to fall over again.

I am programmed now because of this and it WON'T happen again.

I see the makings of a TBN beef cake calendar here. :D

I had to read my wife this thread.... in hopes to get her to stop laughing / nagging me. I did the same exact thing on the 4wd lever on my Kubota. It has happened before where I caught my shorts and kinda tripped up getting off, but this time I got hurt. Momentum carried me (or the top half of me) off the tractor while my legs twisted and stayed on the platform. I wrenched my bad bad enough to go to the doctor. Hit the ground with my head, arms and shoulder. Nothing torn or broken, but having back surgery 3 years ago, anything this "minor" is cause for concern.

Think twice before getting off wearing loose clothing. I now hold my shorts with one hand and the FEL bar in the other.

Pashworth, that is exactly how I fell. Sorry you got hurt though.

I feel silly now but EVERY time I get on or off I hold my shorts tight with one hand.
