Loose Injectors ?? 1300D

I've been doin this crap for over 30 years & "I" couldn't get 1 out.!!! You don't think I tried EVERY trick in the book BEFORE I ordered the tool??!!!
I ordered the tool & thought I'd break the inj. before it FINALLY budged w/ that MONSTER slide hammer Hoye sent me.!!!

Dunno if you saw the conversation in that old thread I linked above:

... We spent a full week building different tools & trying them. We tried everything. We either stripped threads, pulled injectors in half (seriously), or damaged them beyond repair. This was the only thing that we found that would remove an injector 100% of the time without any damage.

WHY are u arguing?? Your not there.. You have no idea of his tooling situation.. Like I said previously> basically, If I cant do it, chances are pretty good you cant do it..

If my injectors ever need to be removed we will continue the discussion.

When I rebuilt my engine several years ago I pulled the head and took it to a machine shop with injectors still in the head to have it rebuilt. They pulled the injectors for me for no charge and even numbered and labeled them for me. The were used to rebuilding Yanmar marine engines. Yes I cheated

Yes any machine shop that does head work should be able to remove injectors.

I don't think you cheated, you were thinking ahead and was avoiding your own headache... How does the saying go? "Work smarter, not harder"
