Loose wheel / hub on PT-422

I was moving a couple cords of wood yesterday and noticed my front left wheel with a wobble. It appears the hub is loose. I just replaced the hubs less than 20 hours ago. Any idea what I may have done wrong the last time I changed them to have one go again.

how tight did you do the wheel hub nut. Terry told me to put it on as tight as you can they use an impact wrench.

As in "BIG" impact wrench.:shocked:

Ask Terry what the torque is, but my memory is that it needed a 3/4" torque wrench to set mine.

Is there a cotter pin locking the hub nut? Maybe you left it out.

it's been a while since I had one of mine off but there was a tapered pin that did go in......and after taking the nut off that thing was an absolute bear to get off.......I'd also check to make sure all the bolts attaching the tire are on tightly and fully.........Jack

I talked to Terry the other day and said to use an impact wrench to tighten the nut. Every time I have changed the hubs I only used a box wrench. Will be sure to use an impact wrench next time. Thank you all for your responses.
