Hi all. Just thought I'd give you an update on the tractor hunt. Called the local bobcat dealer left my name and info with the secretary... no return call from sales. Called Paige equip. wanted 22k + for R2844 w/attachments (J.D only wanted a couple k more for a 3320).Now the good news. Went camping 6/19-6/21. Rained all weekend. Made a good excuse to go to a local McComick dealer (Genesee Equipment) Talked to John about a ct28. He called 1st. thing Mon. morning with a quote $19,300.He called again and told me that they just started a new promotion new cash price CT28w/loader , 5' med. duty cutter w/clutch, 7' stone rake w/guage wheels and is paying up to $300 for rimguard delivered to my place $17,800!!! TRACTOR WILL BE HERE THIS WEEK!!! To top it all off last Fri. I get a call from the Montana dealer (not from my salesman). The gentleman explained that he was following through on a pile of paperwork that my EX-SALESMAN had on his desk. He apologized several times (I'm not the only one this happened to) and to make it short I explained the situation to him and told him I had just purchased a new tractor and he apologized again for being unable to help me. He also assured me that the tractor I bought was a good machine, wished me the best of luck and hoped we could do future buisness together. We'll see.
