Most of you can relate to having the smell of diesel or other things on your clothes after being around the tractor all day. Since I'm not allowed to bring these clothes into the house, I figured the latest piece of exercise equipment (Gazelle) on the back porch would be a good hanging place. This is what I came out to the very next morning.

This is a little closer look. And no, I didn't move the nest. I ended up leaving the pants hanging for almost 2 weeks until something got inside after the eggs.

Thomas,

That's truly amazing how quickly they built that nest!!! I've seen nests apear in pipe fittings and other odd places in a weeks time, but never thought it could happen that quicly!!

Good thing those birds don't have any Beaver in them, they'd take over the world!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Eddie,
At my place they build them overnight...both birds and mice! They use toilet paper and shred it up to start, then small sticks, fibers and grass and whatever they can find. Everytime I visit my property I have to clean out several mice nests out of my tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
