Got the tractor back yesterday. Just about the same time our burn ban lifted so I put it straight to work clearing lanes, moving coals and maintaining the fires.
When I got to the shop the broken parts were in a box on the counter. There was a big flat disk-gear about 8" or so with 5 teeth busted out. There was a six inch shaft/spindle/gear that hooked to said disk that looked like it had been gnawed away.
Total charge was $0. I am a happy Mahindra owner.
One of the guys said he went to fill my rear tires and found them already loaded with water. The advice was to put more weight in the back when working in 4wd with the bucket loaded. Pretty sound advise.
I could not be more satisfied as an owner of this tractor. I was under the impression that I was to pay 10% of repairs per the warranty but this was covered 100%.
Dealer/shop is Livingston Lawn & Garden.
