Went to my local Branson dealer up the road looking for a new 2510H.

After introducing myself, he noted himself as the owner. After some follow up I did finally get a name.

While accessing the tractor, I could not help but make contact with a dip stick under the seat and just above the floor. The dealer let me know I should have been more careful where I put my feet. I commented that the location for a dip stick just off the floor was less than ideal for a bigger framed person wearing work boots.

His price of $16,500 for a HST Loader Tractor was supposed to be a gift, as he only sold new good stuff. He was strongly against any turf tires as they are only 2 ply. Adding rim guard was another $450.

He was not happy when I mentioned I was also looking at a similar LS for thousands less.

I left so he could be by himself again where he seemed at his best.

Can you imagine going back after a sale with an issue? Maybe I'm wrong. Sometimes it's the nicest people that deceive you the best.

Sorry for the bad dealer experience , now with the LS xg 3025 beware I bought one before I got the Branson Jan 2017 after 2 trips back to the dealer they still couldn't stop the oil leak issues with the front crank shaft said it was a factory defect . Dealer is also a Branson dealer and after talking with my owner he bought my Ls and another with the same issues back and returned them to LS along with 1 more that model . He still sells LS and Branson but not the 3025 . When his stock of LS tractors are gone he will be a Branson dealer only because LS gave him a hard time on returning the defective tractor s they couldn't fix . Note mine had 51 hrs the other had 120 hrs and been in shop 4 times 2 different shops . Heard tell the frame is to weak for loader work

I knew I was in for something when the major sign in the front door was to inform everyone that the bathroom was for paying customers only. The showroom was very dark, but lights were on motion sensors and would start turning on when necessary. I guess I cost the dealer some electricity, and was lucky I did not need to use the rest room.

Wow... seems like a bare bones operation.

Did they even have a service department?

That sure sounds as a lousy dealership. The polar opposite of the dealership that I bought my 4020R from a few weeks ago.

I made a day trip with my wife and youngest daughter to Dave's Tractor in Red Bluff, Ca. They've gotta be the best Branson dealership in the state. There is a small Mahindra/Branson dealer near where I live, but they don't have the models I was considering (3515R, 3520R, 3725/4225R, 4015R, 4020R) in stock. That dealership appears to be more Mahindra focused (with an impressive inventory for a small dealership). They do have many of the popular selling Branson models like the 3015H, 3520H, 1905h, and the new 2510H however.

I've been wanting to visit Dave's Tractors for a while (since reading Dave's posts here, and email corresponding with him a number of times a year ago when I was first tractor shopping). Since our financial situation has improved (and I now need to do a lot of work on our property to prepare it for sale), we decided to make the trip and bring home a tractor.

Without being at all pushy or condescending, our salesman (Josh) helped us figure out exactly what tractor we wanted. Everybody in the dealership was helpful and friendly. They have a large, diverse inventory of models, implements, and trailers. After we checked out the inventory we intended to purchase, we walked through the large, busy service department and back to the office to handle the paperwork and such. Everything we saw convinced us that we'd chosen the right dealership.

They set us up with the tractor, trailer, and implements that I wanted and had it all together to tow home within a couple hours..........including adding RimGuard. I also paid less for that RimGuard than what the dealer mentioned above quoted the OP, despite the MUCH larger tires on my 4020R compared to the 2510H. After doing the paperwork for the sale, we went to lunch in town. When we arrived back at Dave's everything was secured on the trailer with another employee standing by to hitch it up to my truck. A class operation for sure (this reminds me to go on yelp and leave my review).

As a side note, the first thing we did when we arrived at Dave's after the 4 hour drive up was use the clean, well lit restrooms. :D

Maybe the OP had met the owner, mechanic, salesman, service mngr, and janitor....all in one!
