2 ply turfs on a tractor? I bought the 2400 with 6 ply industrials. Ride horrible. Thought that turfs would be softer. Looked the www and only found Titan to sell a tire of 33x12.5x16.5 dimensions, which was the recommended size for my tractor, being 4wd and all, and they only came in 4 ply. The sidewall in the tire is so stiff that it will support the weight of the rear with about 300# of wheel weights, with the tire off the rim....what happens when you let the air pressure down too low (8 psig) to get a softer ride and do some heavy work.
The trans-hydraulic dipstick on my 2400 is immediately in front of the seat, at the rear of the "flat" floor. Even though I wear a size 13 I don't recall striking it with my feet. What I did have a problem with was the foot pedal operated throttle. Not enough room on that small of a tractor for that convenience (maybe for some operators)......since the linkage wasn't supportive of just unhooking it, I just sawed it off.
Will grant you that a 24 hp tractor isn't a large machine but I bought it for tight-in work where a larger tractor wouldn't fit so I expected things to be tight.
On the dealer's attitude, who knows. Could be a bad day, tired of picky buyers, maybe wife was on his case for something ......obviously can't sell much with an "attitude".
