My every day driving vehicle is an 2004 Impala and for the past several years the low coolant light would intermittently go on, so last month I replaced the sensor, hoping that it would fix the problem, but no luck. Then the other day I noticed the overflow tank hose was spiting a little water, so I replaced it and like magic the light disappeared and has not come on for a couple of weeks (fingers crossed). Anybody ever experience this?

I would replace your pressure cap. Cheap to do. I chased a similar problem with a boat generator and the cap was the culprit.

Get a quality one from Stant.
