Hooked up new implement with large empty hydraulic hoses a month ago and apparently the fluid that filled the hoses emptied the tractor. :)

I put tractor on high gear today and floored the forward pedal, it was going good, but every 50 or so feet, it will bog down and almost stop. It will do it only on high gear where lots of flow is needed.

Got off the machine and checked the fluid level window - nothing to see.
Went on Amsoil.com and ordered a case of what was already in the machine.

Don't think machine can be damaged this way, but check your fluids guys.

In case you are wondering - this is the fluid I have been using:
https://myaccount.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/hydraulic-oil/synthetic-tractor-hydraulic-transmission-oil-sae-5w-30/?code=ATHQT-CA

It takes a bit over 6 gallons, which comes to about $200.

I kind of have a hunch that your tractor was low on hydraulic fluid BEFORE the implement was hooked up.

Example - 200 feet of 3/4" hose would hold 4.5 gallons of fluid. OR 100 feet of same hose holds 2.25 gallons.

It was a new log splitter with 2 hoses of about 6 feet each. I feel I am a quart or 2 low. Tractor operates normal, except high gear at 2K+ RPM with pedal to the floor.
