I went to a gas station in an adjoining county to get gas. This is primarily an agricultural community. I noticed that the Diesel pump said Low Sulfur Diesel-500ppm. I thought that all stations now had only Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel? I asked the clerk but he didn't know. Is pump Diesel still available in Low Sulfur Diesel in some areas or did they just not upgrade the stickers on the pump?

I bet it is just an old sticker or perhaps the last of the old stuff, my understanding was all diesel sold, even off road, is ulsd as of last December.

That is my understanding as well. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but it is unlikely.

Even off road is now ULSD? Wow, that I didn't know! I'm thinking the same as you and Dargo, the sticker wasn't updated.

I hear some states are now requiring home heating fuel to be ULSD also.

1*They aren't making anything else now.
2*but that don't mean that all the old stock has been sold off everywhere.
3*Probably some of that going on also.

10*I'm thinking the same as you and Dargo, the sticker wasn't updated.
9*But it really makes sense since it's easier and cheaper to make and store just one type of fuel.
Why go to the expense of storing and producing fuels that are nolonge needed?
10* Add me to the list.

11*I hear some states are now requiring home heating fuel to be ULSD also.
11* No problem since that's all they make now a days.

Hi Neighbor!
12*Well, it doesn't surprise me to hear that!
12*Me neither.
