Low Viscosity vs Hygard

/ Low Viscosity vs Hygard #21
just to add to the confusion, here is the chart in my owners manual showing Low-Viscosity for air temps. as high as 104 F.

 That's great. We got 68CF, 86F, 104F for the upper low viscosity oil limit . I'd probably be good in summer with the low viscosity. Today was one of those rare winter days I ran it. I'd bet it's got regular Hy-Gard in it, because FEL was noticeably slower in the curl function when it was 4F, out in the 30-35mph gusts when I was on top of the hill ( about at -27 wind chill). Even so, I think I'll stick with the regular viscosity for better protection on those hot days rather than for a rare day like today. Heat kills.
