Hi,
I was using the switch that raises and lower one of the arms on my 3pt hitch. It got really hot and stopped working. Does anyone sell a replacement switch or have any recommendations. I took the unit off and all the solder joints are still good.
thanks, brett w

Brett, others have replaced the OEM switch with a 3-way self centering switch, or as you saw on mine just straight hydraulic. You should be able to find the switch at Radio Shack.

Hi Don,
How is it in Md? I'm in SC now. Anyway, as you said a few months ago," that switch will not last long. " Would the guys at Radio Shack be able to get me something heavy enough to do the job? I was using it a lot when it went dead. So you think the problem is in the little switch itself. thanks, brett

Brett, from earlier posts that seemed to be the problem. Maybe someone here will answer who has changed the switch. You might try Aaron at Hoye tractor for a replacement switch. It MAY not be too expensive. I would try for the heaviest duty switch available, and replace as needed.
