LPGS disapointment

Make sure when you are reading the manufacturer recommendations on tractors that you see if they are quoting HP for a 2wd or a 4wd tractor as well for that implement. Might be a moot point now, but I figured I'd mention it. :thumbsup:

I wonder if Howse has added cheaper implements to their product line? They have a "heavy duty" version for about $500 more that looks a lot better built.

Why should you have to reinforce a new Howse LPGS in order to make it serviceable?

Shame on Howse.

Your L3240 should not have the beans to bend anything build for medium duty dirt engagement. It is a small light tractor.
You ought to put a compalnt to BBB, just to be a pain. It will cost thehe dealer time and money to ignore you.
Thanks for the warning to stay away from that brand.

I'ts kind of a sad thing. There used to be companies specializing in certain products. They had experience and a reputation to uphold. Like Bushhog built brush mowers. Now anybody can build just about anything that "looks" like the real macoy. Heck, you don't even need a shop. You can farm out everything, from metal cutting, welding right though to paint and decals!

I have owned some Howse stuff and I consider it bottom of the barrel junk. Having owned dozens of implements of all brands over the years I have found a pattern in the quality of implements from various brands and where you buy them. For example Tractor Supply is handy to have close by as they have decent hours and a lot of various parts in stock but the reality of it is almost everything they sell is junk. Their implements, gates, panels, etc is all about the poorest quality junk they can find.
