LS makes disc harrows and rotary tillers?

I was browsing the Iowa Farm Equipment website and noticed that they show an LS tandem disc, an LS offset disc and an LS rotary tiller. Those are not shown on the LS website unless I missed them somehow.

What's the deal? Is Iowa Farm Equipment's website out of date?

They probably do like other companies ... order it made with paint & stickers from a company like King Kutter.

That could well be the case, but I wonder why they're not on LS's website (which was just recently updated).

There was some talk awhile back that LS was going to start selling farm equipment. I would bet that they contract it out to a known manufacturer though. I wonder if the stuff the OP found is cheaper in price than any other brand on the market or just cheaper in quality OR same in all respects.

LS uses Taylor Pittsburgh for its attachments not available from the factory. They have many attachments with the LS paint and decals. Its a good quality build. I have quite a few of the tillers out there and they are a good heavy build and my customers love them. I have not had an issue with a single one yet. They also have cutters, 8ft and 15ft mowers, back blades, box blades, landscape rakes, hyd dump carts, discs, aerators, cultipackers, cultivators, dirt scoops and much more. Very reasonable prices for the quality of build. Hope this answered your question!

I have a Taylor Pittsburgh/Taylor Way rotary cutter that I purchased in 2000. I've been pleased with the purchase.

I don't know when the change occurred, but Taylor Pittsburgh is now controlled (owned?) by King Kutter: TAYLOR PITTSBURGH - Reviews & Brand Information - King Kutter, Inc. Winfield, AL - Serial Number: 85253797. I don't know if Taylor Pittsburgh implements are unique or re-badged King Kutter implements.

I purchased the 6' cutter and box blade. Both painted LS blue with LS stickers. The serial number tag clearly says Taylor Pittsburgh as does the manuals.

I am very happy with both and got a good price on them as a package with my R3039H.:thumbsup:

I bought the box blade and their disc and happy with both as well. The disc had one issue, one of the shafts wouldnt turn hardly. I believe they put it together with an impact gun. I loosened it a bit and spins fine now.

Can someone tell me if I'm thinking correctly here? LS Tillers are made by Taylor Pittsburgh. Taylor Pittsburgh is owned by King Kutter. King Kutter makes the County Line tillers sold at TSC. So are LS tillers and County Line tillers the same with different paint?
