If I was making a choice for a new tractor
with Kukje 2.3L 4-cyl diesel or a Deutz
I would go with the Deutz in a heart beat!
I have been looking at the Deutz 5080D
contemplating if I want to grow some crops

Are you ready to be in something green? šŸ˜‚

I've got 12 hours on my TYM T654. So far I'm very happy with the machine and I was excited that it had a Duetz engine. Purrs like a kitten. So far, the only disappointment is it doesn't have a temp gauge, just an idiot light when it overheats.

You would think it would have a temp gauge. I am pretty sure I will be going with a T654. Need to call the dealer I am going to go with and have him order me one. He said it should be delivered by the end of May or first of June. I really liked the feel of the T574 but I do like that the T654 has the Deutz engine and more HP.

I was looking more closely at my manual. I'll have to check this weekend on the tractor, but there MAY be a temp indicator next to the warning light that looks like a thermometer.

For $40K~$50K, the TYMP T654 and T754 are pretty good tractors at that price point.

I found there was very little diffrence between the 654 and 754, except the price.
Congrats on the 654. Let me know if you figure out how to get a temp gauge on it.
I would love to do something more factory than an aftermarket.

The T754 is a bit bigger and heavier if that matters to you. It has a bit more performance as well but, it isn't a huge difference either.

A bit like the L-series Kubotas when you look at the mid-range models.

If you can figure out where/how to mount the gauge, all you need to do is get your sensor into a water jacket. I’ve seen it done with a short piece ot tubing with the sensor port which just went into the radiator hose. The ā€œrace and performance parts places may have them as stock items.

I have most of the gauges and a cluster, to add gauges to my tiny tractor for fuel pressure, hydraulic pressure and temp for the water and the hydraulic oil. Just trying to buy the correct Ford part to get the injection pressure gauge for a ford diesel to run the electronic hydraulic pressure gauge. I have a cap mounted and am looking to mount the gauge cluster up there Where i can look up and see it. Gauges are lots easier to install if they are electronic, because you don’t have to route, things like hydraulic lines next to the operator.

Tip, get the ā€œanalogā€ gauges with a needle, and rotate them when you mount them so normal is vertical. Then you can tell at a glance that something is either above or below where it normally is.
