LS Owner in a NH Dealership

Yup, after looking on Tractor Data the 2013 Boomer 40 is probably the same machine as mine.
Thanks for the help.

By the way, I had a minor coolant leak 1 week after I bought it, the dealer picked it up, repaired it and returned it the same day. Have not had a single problem since (5.5 years)!

Actually he wasn't wrong (in a way) in that metric is the world's standard and only items manufactured in the US use the imperial (american version) system.

I worked at a GM truck plant S10 in Shreveport LA for 26 years. Now closed I am a retiree. Every nut and bolt was metric except the oil drain bolt being 9/16 SAE.I worked on the motor line in chassis.

Thats what I was struggling with. I couldnt figure out if it was the old Boomer 40 or Workmaster 40. The NEW Workmaster has the LS engine, but the old has a Mitsu. Looking at photos, they are so similar. So, thats why I am not sure. :confused3:

The 2013-2015 Workmaster 40 also was an LS engine. But it runs a 38hp 2 liter 3 cylinder. The 2017 to current model is a LS Mitron 1.9L 3 cylinder 40hp engine. The direct model of New Holland he needs for reference is the Boomer 40 that I mentioned above. It's the same model as the XR4041.

You are absolutely correct. Thank you. Looking at tractor data, it clearly shows the 2013 NH Workmaster 40 being an LS engine. Not sure what I was thinking.

The funny thing is that te "Official" form of measurement in the US is metric & not SAE, this was passed about 100 years ago, but never implemented. Read this somewhere a few years ago and was very surprised.
