You pretty much echoed most of what I found when comparing the two. I thought I was imagining that the LS ran smoother, and quieter, so I'm glad you noticed it too. The Hydro pedal issue, and loader control knob have never even entered my mind in use. I find the range selector lever is easier, in one way than the Kioti....no need to take your left hand off the wheel if you switch ranges in the middle of a job, which I find I'm doing fairly regularly (may happen less with experience). I definitely liked the actual physical engagement of the range selector less on the Kioti....wasn't as crisp. The only thing that I would like to change is the egress/ingress issue. I'm thinking of trimming about 1" off the left side of the left brake pedal to open up some space for my feet while getting on/off the tractor. Other than that....no complaints so far.

I definitely think it's worth the extra $1350 for the 47hp...

Added a tooth bar today before loading a 25yd rolloff with trash from the new property.

Gary, I became disabled and could not climb on my large Kubota so I bought a small LS 4x4 that I could do most chores with. It is about as smooth as any tractor I have been on! I was impressed when I pulled a full sized pickup and long trailer stuck up to the axles out of my field like it was not there! I also pulled my 70hp Kubota onto the dealer's inclined trailer when it broke their winch! Will I buy another? YES!! I have a sister who lives in the Metropolis of Bismarck Ark.

With respect to the extra HP.. As I have stated before, the, R4041 and R 4047 is the same tractor with 2 exceptions. 47 has larger tires and it has the injectors turned up to get the extra 6 HP out of the motor. Both tractors share same motor, frame, hydraulics, electrics, sheet metal. A lot of dealers order the 41 with 47 tires. You can tell by looking at the space between the top of tire and the fender.

TSO... I live near columbus ohio and looking at purchasing the LS 4041H myself. Best price i could come up with was 21 plus tax. What dealer you working with up there at 21,400. May drive the three hours to save 600 plus the tax money. Thanks

Just a quick glance in the photos shows the LS to have double remote hydraulics while Kioti has only one. Rear work lite on LS, none on Kioti.
That is close to $800 in extras there alone.

Send me a PM with name, I doubt that I know her as we moved here only about 2 years ago and don't know many people outside of our house building contractor and our 3 nearby neighbors.

Every tractor company has the same thing. Each series shares common components with engine, frame size etc with just some tweaking in the engine to gain more power. Do you need more power, likely not as most of these CUTs have more power than traction. Do you need the extra flotation and traction of the larger tires? Only you will know about that. If you would be doing PTO work that taxes the 41 HP then the extra 6 HP might be nice to have. The reason for the minimal price increase is because it is minimal difference, just tires and maybe different fuel pump but likely just turned up. I know on the P70XX series, the 7010 is naturally aspirated, 7020 is turbo and 7030 adds an intercooler to the turbo. Each addition adds 10 HP but the tractors are same otherwise. I haven't checked their website in a while but I think they make a 7040 now but it may be in a different frame size. I guess I should check it out.

I wouldn't go outside my dealer area for that kind of money, but maybe if you mentioned the deal, your dealer would come to the same price or meet you half way at least.
