Congrats on the new LS. I looked pretty hard at the LS C3030 and was highly impressed. I sort of passed on to others mainly because of lack of personal familiarity with the brand, although the dealer did tell me they are now made by LG, makers of a whole LOT of stuff, although I'm not too sure what LG's machinery background is.

Anyway the LS's I looked at were really nice machines, and in fact had the stoutest looking loader frame mount I think I've seen anywhere on a tractor of that size.

Have fun with it!

I really like my I3030 also and would have gotten the 3010 but I needed a fold down roll bar. Speaking of lights, one annoyance on mine is that the Park brake light indicator comes on every time I use the brakes. It is a minor thing, but still annoying. Still a good tractor with which I have already done a lot of work.

Actually, that one could be intentional. Not long after getting the S3010 I moved it about 5 feet in low gear before I realized I had the brakes locked. In that low of gear the engine didn't even strain. If I hadn't of remembered pretty quick I might have gone a good ways with the brake set. Yeah, I wouldn't mind that one.

It's been 6 months but here's how I remember it. The operator's manual for the S3010 describes all those lights and what they do in detail. Why would you do that if they are intentionally inop? I was trying to do the right thing and go over the equipment before using it. It was while waiting on the glow plug warm up that I noticed only a few of the warning/information lights came on. So I called the dealer with a warranty issue. He didn't know so he called LS. Turns out is wasn't a warranty issue. (Perhaps it's a "feature" -- fewer instruments lights to worry about than the higher end model.) ;)

Well I reckon it's time for me to eat a little crow. Looks like I did a little "misremembering" earlier (we do those kinds of things down in Texas don't ya know.) I was just looking though my S3010's operator's manual for something unrelated to this thread and noticed it DOESN'T describe any of the inoperable lights (in detail, or otherwise), just shows them in the drawings. Still wished they worked though. My apologies to anyone I've led astray and to LS.
