Has any one ever removed the cab top ?

i pinched it on a tree and cracked a hole in it. I just want to remove it and bondo it up

There are 2 nuts in front of the cap behind the lights and one on each side about the middle of the door areas then the entire top is hinged at the rear. I have a XR3037HC, my buddy has an XR4140HC and both caps are attached the same.

It's easy. As stated by George, remove the two nuts right above the doors (they maybe covered by plastic caps) and two behind the front lights. The entire thing will hinge up. Removing the hinge should be straight forward. Mine has a kick stand that was zip tied down inside to hold the cap up. Of course, you will need a 10mm and ladder for this (and snips for the zip tie.)

OHH!! Just remembered. When you reinstall those nuts, a dab of locktite. One of mine rattled loose. I found the nut on my driveway, and took me a while to figure out where it went. :laughing:
