LS XR3037 Compare To What Kiot, Kubota

I agree it was better from a marketing standpoint to have the extras included, but your comment fails the logic test.

The "extra" things are rear remotes, the rear windshield wiper, and the stereo...that's it. For $1K you can get two remotes, the wiper, and the radio added to an NX.

Those things weren't free on the DK SE series, so you were paying that same $1K (ballpark), but it was included in the standard price so it wasn't obvious. If they weren't standard on the DK SE, the starting price would have been $1K lower. If they were standard on the NX, the price would be $1K higher. In the end, there's no difference to the buyer....you're paying for them either way, it's just whether you know about it or not.

You still can save multiple thousands of dollars buying an NX compared with equivalent models from most of the other manufacturers...having those couple of extras be separate line
items didn't change that.

Logic test?? Really?don't know what I am are paying for????? Pretty sure I knew what I was paying for smart guy::laughing:

Says who? ...You?

Kioti marketing guys let you in on this?

Nice to see you edited your original response....there's really no need for that.

Kioti didn't give you free remotes, rear wiper or stereo when you bought your DK. You paid for them, but didn't know how much each cost because they weren't separate line items. They simply included them in the overall price of the machine in the DK SE series.

Those items are now separate line items on the NX series, so you know what each one costs. If they were included in the price of the machine, that price would have to be higher, because Kioti isn't in business to give things away for free. This really isn't the most cerebral concept, but I guess it can be challenging to some.

Oh, as for the source of my information, I spoke about this to the folks at Michigan Iron and Equipment when I was there a while back. They are on the Kioti advisory board, and said this exact issue was brought up at their annual meeting. They said their suggestion was to keep the items as standard, and raise the price $800-1000. Give them a call...I'm sure they'll tell you the same thing.
