With a year of NX ownership under my belt, higher lift is a good thing. Right now I wish I could lift material higher so that my burn piles could be smaller and I could load larger dump beds.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. I have given thought to the loader height and lift capacity. I don't do a whole bunch of farming anymore, but came off a JD 4020 for hay and 46 hp and 37 PTO hp just seems low... Do guys with the XR4046 feel hindered by that power level at all for their snow plowing, log skidding, dirt moving, garden tilling, driveway mending, and small farm operations? Thanks!

Loading dump beds and rolloff dumpsters was the one area my LS struggled with. It's not so much a problem with the Case

The new XR4100 series has a big jump in PTO hp.

If you're coming from a JD 4020, any modern 40 - 50 hp compact tractor is going to feel small and underpowered. Those old 4020's could pull darn near anything, and were really great at putting power to the ground. Today's tractors have a lot more conveniences, but they are not nearly as heavy or as tough as an old 4020.

I put a lot of hours on a 4020 in a former life, and I've got a soft spot for them in my heart.
