I joined this forum just for the opportunity to say THANK YOU to Hill Billy Bob! I was having this same problem with my LT1050 and as I researched on the internet I was growing concerned that I may need to try to replace the PTO clutch. I am by no means a handyman but I always try to fix the issue myself when possible to save a few bucks. What a relief to come across this forum with knowledgeable people willing to share their expertise and experience. Like JRobyn I was able to spot the bare red wire. Within a few minutes and with just a few inches of electrical tape PROBLEM SOLVED! Yeah Hill Billy Bob!
