No idea on that specific part, but I replaced one on my FEL this fall and it was metric (just like the rest of the tractor). Did you buy metric or sae? They were *VERY* similar sized.

My Kubota takes 10mm threads on the zerc. Take it with you to get a new one. The hardware store zercs don't have as many threads as the Kubota zerc and are harder to get the thread started. I think the threads on the Kubota part start out a little smaller and work better. I went to Kubota parts and they just had the hardware type. Cheaper, I guess.
