I have a come-a-long. When I get my truck stuck I get the tractor and then if the tractor gets stuck pulling the truck I get the come-a-long. I also got the wire clamping end for stretching barbed wire, and have put up about 3 miles of fence. I also have use it to load my broke Farmall on a trailer and pull it into the shed. It is a useful tool.

I bought mine a from Harbor Freight (I went to the local store) for $20 I got a 4-ton. Its pulled my truck out of the mud a couple times already.

A buddy of mine just got a 2 ton at Tractor Supply for $12. At least I think that's what you're referring to and not an electric winch.

i have a 4 ton model my father gave me, genuine masdam model, and it has helped me out a couple of times, the heavy duty off road guys like the high-lift jack for the same job as well as getting them off a high centered rock or pulling them out of mud, changing a tire.
