I recently bought a 2008 5425 and am trying to install LVB25717. What is giving me trouble is the upholstery cutout for the bracket. The bracket doesn't sit flat on the bolting at the door as it seems the cutout is to small. I printed the template regular size and not fit to page so it should be the right size.
Another odd thing is that the instructions call out two plugs in the fender and to push out the right side one for marking the upholstery. I dont have any plugs or places for plugs on the left fender.
Anyone do one of these installations that can give me some tips? Almost to the point of throwing the instructions away and installing how I see fit.
