Naw. I've busted enough shear bolts with my PHD to realize that I'd never want them on a mower.

I'm going to make sure that before I complete the purchase with the dealer that ALL of the standard items are on the invoice - or they can keep it. This is just too fishy otherwise.

Besides, if you're really jumping cars/trucks with your Deere why would you worry about a slip clutch, Mike? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Good to ask those questions. My MX6 didn't have rear guards - blew me away. What is the meanign of standard anyway...

Actually, I really wanted to buy that K-80 Parcours Special with the carrier barrels and tube set... but the Tractor came first! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I ultimately chose the LX6 over the MX6, trading in my 513 with shear bolt for a bigger unit with slip clutch. I was concerned about my 990 having enough power to handle the MX. Since it's only fields I'm dealing with, I figure I'll be OK.

But I was also very surprised to see when the LX6 was delivered there were no rear (nor front) chains. I bought sets and installed them myself the next week, but I was a little disappointed that they were considered an option.
