M-105

I have been trying to find some information on the new model M-105. Will this tractor be a cab only like the 110-120 or will there be a open station model. I have to have open tractors to use in my poultry houses. I have looked at the 9000DTL and may buy one of those. But wanted to find out more about the 105 first. Thanks JJJ

The M105 will be a cab only with similar control features to an M9000HDC. More PTO horsepower than an M110. Very nice rig at an attractive price. www.jenningsequipment.com has the specs for this unit on their M Series page.

Last fall I bought a Kubota M9000DTL for my poultry and livestock farm. I have about 80hrs on it now and four clean outs. It has been great. I just finished building myself a poultry housekeeper similar to the lewis or KMC machines. It handles it with no problem. I also use a Big O litter tiller. That M9000 doesn’t even know it is behind it. This tractor has more than enough power for poultry farming equipment and the right low profile needed to work inside barns. The low range is very useful for pulling the housekeeper and spreader. The other thing about the M9000 is that like other Kubotas it is very quite even at the higher rpm.

I’m convinced that it is the best choice for our type of operation after comparing cost and features.

Let me know if you need any more information like best pricing ect but don’t worry about power, it has plenty.

The M105S will be a longer wheel base tractor, cab only, with a 16 by 16 transmission. Available in 2WD or 4WD. We are hoping to see them around April. A very impressive tractor. Lewis

I went to 2 dealers today and looked at the 9000DTL. I looked at the specs on the 1251 loader and the 97.2 inches bucket height when dumped is only 5 inches above my spreader trucks body on level ground. One dealer said that was enough because it would dump before it got to the full tilt but the other dealer recommended a Quicke Loader in a long reach model. Has anyone had dealing with a Quicke loader.

Never used one, personally. However, Quicke loaders are fast becoming the most popular after-market loaders in this part of the country. Several local dealers have switched to Quicke in the last several years.
Quicke would be my first choice, by a long shot, over other after-market loaders. Really nice looking product with a lot of models to choose from for applications such as yours.

I’m very interested to find out what you end up with in the way of loaders. Like my picture attached to the previous post shows I don’t have a loader yet. I use my skid steer for loading but someday I would like to get one. It would be nice to have the extended reach loader but the other is correct that the material will be out of the bucket by the time it is pointing down.

If you are going to use yours for loading I would recommend buying or building a high capacity bucket.

Just checking the loader spec's for a Quickie 940 it seems something is wrong between the pivot pin height and the bottom of the bucket when dumped as they only show 10" difference on the literature. There specs do make a difference depending on the brand and model of tractor used. I do worry about overloading the front axle from extended loader reaches and capacities from aftermarket loader companies but if it doesn't work then it is no good for you either.
