M-6800 and new loader

Just had a new Bushhog Loader added to my 6800 and so far it works like a charm.Switched to the Bushhog hayfork I got with it in about 5-6 minutes the first time.Everything works very smooth but will probably adjust the position of the stick control to make it more comfortable.

Saltyhorse - First I have seen of you - is the 6800 new as well? I have a 5700 with Kubota loader. Only 9 hrs to date. Will be looking forward to more of your posts. Go ahead and register.

I've got 71 hrs on mine.I have a Bush Hog loader too.Had to buy a new tire/tube after box blade put hole in it.But it was my fault.I will put Amsoil 15w40 in it when I get 75 hrs.Already changed hyrd.oil to Amsoil.I had a M4700 and put it on Amsoil at 50 hrs.but I will wait a little longer on this one.Only had 400+ hrs on it when I traded it in.

Love these 68 HP compacts! I have the bushhog 260 rotary cutter, but the Kubota L1002 loader. All of the Kubota M Series are really nice tractors. Glad you are enjoying yours as much as I am.

Saltyhorse, what made you choose the Bush Hog loader over the Kubota loader. I ask because I had decided to go with the BH loader as well...just so happened I bought my tractor used and it already had the Kubota loader.

lschultz1, why the switch to the 6800 after only 400 hours on the 4700?

It was $500.00 cheaper and that allowed me to get the hayfork and the dealer said it was easier to switch from bucket to forks.Boy it could not be any easier he was right.
