yeah - on the other hand, Safariland makes a synthetic paddle that fits the P6 very nice that can be had for about $25. (it also fits the Beretta/Stoeger 8040 cougar)

I have made my decision, talked him into the sig p229, 4 mags, and tax for what I consider a really good price. He actually has two of them I think.
The holsters I am looking at are something like this.
Inside Waistband Holsters - Minotaur Holsters - products new home - Minotaur MTAC Holster
A little expensive, and I need to get a good gun belt too, but supposedly very very good, and very very comfortable. I may wait a bit on the holster as my county takes forever on approving cpl, so I probably have a couple months yet before I can carry. I will let you know after going to the range.

look up crossbreed holsters - especially their supertuck IWB model.
good customer service, good product, pretty competitive price.
for a belt, google beltman -- he'll sell you a custom 1 1/2" belt that will likely outlast you.
Blackhawk and Dillon have some pretty nice 1 1/4" "dress" carry belts as well.
last time I looked, all 3 had products starting around $70.
I'd also appreciate it if you could PM me price or contact details if he really does have a second 229 on hand for a good deal. I've got an FFL here local who does $15 transfers from other FFLs.
while you're waiting on the ccw permit, you might look into a Blackhawk serpa rig for open carry around the property, range, etc... (for that matter, in Ks concealed carry is legal on your own property or at your place of business without a permit, not sure what laws are like in your neck of the woods)
