They muffle the engine noise sufficiency so you don't have to turn the volume way up to enjoy...it's incredible. Thank to Peltor Worktunes II my productivity has really skyrocketed. ...:thumbsup:they're so good my wife hates them. edit...don't go cheap when it come to your ears, hearing loss like x-rays is accumulative.
