M5140 fuel problem

Bought a used m5140 serial number 50561. Only 3rd time I’ve used it. Started fine, then running rough at idle. Eventually died. Cleaned the water bowl and could not get gravity flow from tank, so I filled it with diesel. Pulled and filled up spin on fuel filter. Got tractor to start again but died shortly. Not sure how this system works since tank is below fuel filters? Could not find an electric lift pump in system. Fuel tank is full. would an electric fuel pump before the bowl solve my problem? Also any ne pulled the hood n one of these? looks like it’s for to be removed to crack injectors. My back and neck are killing me trying to squeeze in under this hood. And of course it’s broken down in back pasture and to muddy to get pick up back there

My fuel system goes like this. Tank to water bowl,spin on filter with primer, to I’m guessing lift pump on injection pump, to injection pump. Could not find any hidden screens or bleeder valves. But I’m new to kubota. Any pointers would be appreciated
