M5700 QUOTE

I have a quote for a M5700 and I was hoping for some feedback.

This seems a bit more affordable than the New Holland which I also recently posted. Mahindra 6000 4WD might not be looking too bad...

Any thoughts?

Hi Daryl,

The Mahindra 6000 4WD + Loader was $21,750 which is almost $8,000 cheaper than the Kubota /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif!

I could buy lots of fruit for $8,000.

I am going to see what it would take for the Mahindra dealer to put a 4 in 1 bucket on his loader.

With me, it's either Kubota or Deere, both have proven track records and good dealer support nearby to where I farm. There is a new Kioti (I thinks I spelled it right) within 15 miles but Kioti is like Mahindra, just tropical fruit.

Can anybody provide some input as to how this tractor compares to the New Holland TN 70 I also have listed or a similar TN 65?

About 3 years ago, I got a quote on a Kubota M6800 for ~$21.x K and the loader was about ~$3600...

...this was without dickering... so I don't know where it could have ended up...

I see you posting for all these different units... what exactly are your plans/useage for a tractor?

Hi John,

I have a 37 acre farm in Michigan. Some of the land is under till. Some is wooded.

I will be using the tractor for field work, landscaping, earth work, snow removal, basicly everything associated with a hobby farm.

I want a full size ag tractor to do large scale chores.

I was down at my local dealer who sells Kubota's as well as Case, IH and had to pick up some combine parts. I was talking to the salesman whom I always do business with and asked him about an M9000 that he had on the lot. The M9000 is 85pto. It had a 12 speed glide shift, full cab, ac/am-fm radio cassette mfwd on ag's with weights. 6 remotes with splitters and a swinging drawbar. He quoted me 34K. I asked if he would put r4's on and the price difference. He said same price. I asked about a loader and he quoted me $4500.00 with a rock bucket and 4 position valve. That's a little bigger than what you are looking at. I was thinking about your thread when I asked him.

Hi Daryl,

I think your tractor is at least twice as nice as mine, and for almost the same money. Does your dealer deliver over the bridge?

I know of no Kubota dealers in the U.P. The dealer I went to is just outside of Green Bay. They have several locations in N.E. Wisconsin. They also sell Case, and NH. They should have the best selection and some sales volume to quote better prices.

I am taking my business elsewhere. In this economy, somebody has to want my money.

I sent you an e-mail regarding your post. Anyway, if I hadn't bought my 5030 this year, I'd think about the M9000 myself. Kubota credit likes me.

When I said the rears were loaded, I meant that it had Kubota weight plates on the rears.
