M59 Workshop Service Manual - Two different part numbers and prices?

I was getting ready to order the WSM from Messick's but decided to call my local dealer first. Messick's has it listed for $76.98 (part number 9Y121-01120), but the dealer quoted $134.98. I searched and found another WSM listed on Ebay with a different part number (9Y111-01122) and is $134.98. Anyone have any idea why there's two different WSMs at almost double the price for one?

The higher numbered one, 01122, on ebay says it was published in July 2014, the other 01120 is the older one I bought back in 2009 that was published in January 2008. Hopefully that helps as I am not sure what all changed, but if your M59 is newer than say 2009 I would go for the newer manual.
Mine is an early one from 2008, so a newer manual probably won't help me much with my original parts tractor, though I would be very curious to know the differences.

Interesting. Would you really think they'd make that many changes over the production run [and still use the same "kits"]. By kits I mean auxiliary hydraulics etc. I know with vehicles they'll usually specify by year or even late/early in the year. The kits/parts I've been looking up don't seem to specify year. I hope there's not $60 worth of manual in parts changes to make things even more complicated, lol. Thanks for the info AZTimT!

Who knows... maybe they corrected the fluid amounts for the areas that don't take as much as they say or some typos... I have not read enough of mine to notice things needing to be changed as the tractor has never broken in 1049 hrs. You are welcome and glad I could be a helpful.

I have a 2008 and the manual came with some pages that were glued over with new pages. I can't remember what they were off hand without going and looking, but they were not major. The new manual has the changes made.
